Welcome to Heinley Fine Arts Ltd.
Your Personal Consultants in 19th Century French Paintings

HEINLEY FINE ARTS was established in
Boston, Massachusetts in 1990 in order to
make the finest quality 19th century
French paintings available to American
collectors. It was created in response to
an overwhelming reception by the Boston
public to several exhibits curated by  Fine
Arts Consultant, Donna Heinley.  HFA
offers museum-quality paintings to the
private collector, corporate client, or
museum curator.  But a very personal,
educational approach sets Ms. Heinley’s
business apart from mainstream,
commercial galleries. She is dedicated to
helping the beginning collector as well as
the more sophisticated connoisseur and
works with her clients privately until their
special needs are satisfied.

Ms.Heinley first brought the now noted
French Post- Impressionist, Charles
Roussel to Boston in 1989, debuting the
paintings at Vose Galleries.  In coordination
with the exhibit, Ms Heinley organized a
series of cultural events linking the Boston
Symphony Orchestra and the French Library
of Boston in a citywide celebration of French
art, music, and culture.  She has also curated
exhibits for other major galleries including
Babcock Galleries of New York. Additionally,
Ms. Heinley has been a guest lecturer at the
Harvard Club., The French Library, Boston
Symphony Hall and Vose Galleries.

In 1994, when Ms. Heinley curated her first exhibit of Barbizon paintings for Vose Galleries,
“Barbizon Returns to Vose;" she decided to specialize in French Barbizon paintings. Her
passion for these beautiful, pre-impressionist landscapes continues today as the primary
inspiration and focus of her business. She travels several months yearly throughout France to
find paintings, working with leading scholars and experts internationally.
Ms. Heinley will see individual collectors by appointment only.
